Product Description

A warning sign has one job that every other kind of notice can duck: it has to change what somebody does in the next few seconds. That is why the shape, the colour and the pictogram are fixed by standard rather than chosen, and why the wrong one is worse than none.

The five ISO 7010 categories. Prohibition signs, the red circle with a bar, for what must not happen. Warning signs, the yellow triangle, for a hazard that exists. Mandatory signs, the blue disc, for what must be worn or done. Safe condition signs, the green square, for escape and equipment. And fire equipment signs, the red square. Most sites need all five, and the value of the set is that they are read the same way by anybody.

What we make. Danger signs and caution signs. Hazard signs for hot surface, moving parts, falling objects, overhead load, slippery surface, confined space and forklift traffic. Prohibition signs for no entry, no smoking, no naked flame and authorised personnel only. General safety signage for factories, warehouses, yards and plant rooms. Custom wording where a site has a rule the standard set does not cover.

Sizes and materials. Aluminium for exterior and long-term positions, acrylic where the finish matters indoors, polycarbonate where a sign will be knocked, and self-adhesive vinyl for applying straight onto a surface. Any size, from a small equipment plate to a large-format board read across a yard. Sized to the viewing distance rather than to a catalogue.

Language. English, Chinese, Malay, Tamil and bilingual formats. The pictogram carries the meaning for anybody who reads none of them, which is the point of using the standard set on a multilingual site.

Where the specialists take over. This is the general industrial set. Signs for a named specialism are produced on their own pages: electrical hazard signs, GHS and chemical hazard labels, PPE mandatory signs and road and traffic signage. Ask us for the general set and we will point you at the right one for the rest.

Produced to the ISO 7010 and SS 508 pictogram sets and supplied to factories, warehouses, shipyards and industrial facilities across Singapore since 1979. Also available as self-adhesive machinery and equipment safety labels where there is a surface to label rather than somewhere to mount a rigid sign.

Prohibition, the red circle with a bar, for what must not happen. Warning, the yellow triangle, for a hazard that exists. Mandatory, the blue disc, for what must be worn or done. Safe condition, the green square, for escape routes and equipment. And fire equipment, the red square. Most sites need all five.

Danger and caution signs, hazard signs for hot surface, moving parts, falling objects, overhead load, slippery surface, confined space and forklift traffic, and prohibition signs for no entry, no smoking, no naked flame and authorised personnel only. Custom wording where a site rule falls outside the standard set.

Sized to the viewing distance, not to a catalogue. A sign that is correct but too small to read from where somebody will be standing has not done anything. Tell us the position and the approach distance and we will size it.

Yes, in English, Chinese, Malay, Tamil and bilingual formats. The ISO 7010 pictogram carries the meaning for anybody who reads none of them, which is the point of using the standard set on a multilingual site.

Aluminium for exterior and long-term positions, acrylic where the finish matters indoors, polycarbonate where a sign is likely to be knocked, and self-adhesive vinyl for applying straight onto a surface.

Yes, but on their own pages, because each has its own pictogram conventions: electrical hazard signs, GHS and chemical hazard labels, PPE mandatory signs and road and traffic signage. This page is the general industrial set.
