Founded in 1979 by Mr Chong Yuke Wan and Madam Hong Ah May at 21 Cuff Road, Million began as a silk screen printing company named 美然 (Mei Ran), meaning "beautiful" and "natural" in Mandarin. "Million" is a loose translation of those values, and they still shape how we work today.
Over four decades, we grew from a single silk screen press into a fully integrated marking facility, adding laser engraving, UV flatbed printing, sandblasting, chemical etching, CNC routing and waterjet cutting. Today we operate 17 in-house services across 12+ industries, serving over 9,000 clients from government agencies and MNCs to electronics, aerospace and industrial manufacturers.
In 2020 we undertook a rebranding exercise and launched a dedicated home for our awards and recognition work at millionawards.com, allowing us to serve our two customer groups, industrial identification and awards, with features tailored to each.
In 2024 we celebrated our 45th anniversary, a milestone that reinforced the craftsmanship, honesty, and long-term client relationships our founders built this company on. Many of our clients have been with us for decades; many of our team have been with us nearly as long.
