Data Centres
Cable and rack labels, patch-panel identification, control panel labels and asset tags for data centres and IT infrastructure.
Overview
Singapore is one of the region's largest data-centre markets, hosting a dense cluster of hyperscale and colocation facilities. These sites depend on meticulous identification of racks, cables, patch points, panels and power distribution to support maintenance, fast fault response and capacity planning. Labels have to stay legible in low-light data halls and hold up to repeated handling and cleaning.
Million produces this range in-house: cable and wire labels for structured cabling and power, engraved rack identification plates and asset tags (Milmark), control panel labels for UPS, cooling and power equipment, and sequential and barcode labelling for DCIM. We print on durable vinyl and polyester and engrave rigid plates, and we produce labels to the TIA-606 administration format so cabling identification stays orderly and auditable.
Data centres demand identification that lasts the full lifecycle of the facility without replacement or re-labelling. Our polyester and metallic labels are rated for continuous operation in data hall environments, and our structured cabling labels comply with TIA-606 administration standards used by hyperscale and colocation operators.

Common Data Centres applications
Cable & patch panel labelling
Durable wrap-around and flag labels for structured cabling, patch panels, and fibre runs, rated for 10+ year service life in data hall conditions.
Server rack & asset tags
Serialised asset tags and barcode labels for rack-mounted equipment, PDUs, and IT asset management systems.
Floor & aisle wayfinding
Raised floor tile labels, aisle identification signs, and zone marking for data hall navigation and hot/cold aisle management.
Power & electrical identification
Panel labels, circuit breaker tags, and UPS identification supporting NFPA 70E electrical safety labelling requirements.

Frequently asked questions
TIA-606-C is the primary standard for telecommunications infrastructure administration, covering labelling of cables, patch panels, equipment, and spaces in data centres. Labels must identify both ends of each cable and be rated for the environmental conditions of the data hall.
TIA-606-C recommends labels rated for the expected infrastructure service life, typically 10–20 years in a data centre environment. This requires polyester or metallic labels with permanent adhesive rated for the temperature and humidity range of the data hall (typically 18–27°C, 40–60% RH).
Serialised barcode or QR code asset tags should be applied to all rack-mounted equipment, PDUs, patch panels, and cabling infrastructure. Labels should be compatible with your DCIM or CMMS system's barcode format and rated for the data hall environment.
Hot and cold aisles are identified with floor tile labels, overhead signage, and aisle end panels. Colour-coding (blue for cold, red for hot) is standard practice. We supply durable floor-rated labels and laser-engraved aluminium aisle identification signs.
Yes. Alongside cable and rack labels, we produce control panel labels for UPS, cooling, and power distribution equipment in the data hall. These can be engraved or printed in durable materials that stay legible under continuous operation and repeated handling.
