Product Description

A fire alarm zone chart is what turns an alarm activation into a location. Mounted adjacent to your fire alarm control panel, it gives emergency responders, maintenance technicians, and building managers an instant visual reference of your fire detection layout, no guesswork, no delay.

When a fire alarm activates, your zone chart tells responders exactly where to go. It also makes routine maintenance faster. Technicians can locate every detector, inspect devices, and log faults without searching the building floor by floor.

The zone numbers have to match the panel. This is the one thing that makes a zone chart useful or useless. If the panel annunciates Zone 4 and the chart calls the same area Zone 5, the chart is worse than no chart, because somebody will trust it. We set the chart out from your panel's own zone schedule, not from the architect's room numbering.

What we need from you. A floor plan in any workable form, a CAD file, a PDF, or a marked-up print, and the zone list off the fire alarm panel. If the building has been extended, re-partitioned or re-zoned since the original chart was made, send the current panel schedule rather than the old chart, because the old chart is the thing being replaced for a reason.

Layout. The plan is drawn with the zones shaded and numbered, a legend, a north point, and a you-are-here marker at the panel position, so a responder reading it for the first time under pressure is oriented in one look. Multi-storey buildings are set out either as one chart per floor or as a stacked set on a single panel, depending on what fits the wall beside the panel.

We produce zone charts to your exact building layout, commonly on acrylic and polycarbonate, with stainless steel, aluminium and brass also available, using the method best suited to your chosen substrate. Charts for riser cupboards and plant rooms are produced to the same drawing so the whole building reads consistently.

Other materials and processes are available to suit your specific requirements. Supplied to building management teams, emergency responders, and facilities across Singapore.

Produced alongside our mimic panels, which show live status rather than a fixed zone layout, and our fire evacuation and escape route plans for the floor plan itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

A floor plan of the building divided into the same zones the fire alarm panel annunciates, mounted next to the panel. When the panel reports a zone, the chart turns that zone number into a place in the building.

Send the current panel schedule rather than the existing chart. If the building has been extended or re-zoned, the old chart is the thing being replaced, so it is not a reliable source for the new one.

Either one chart per floor, or a stacked set of floors on a single panel. Which one suits you depends on how much wall there is beside the fire alarm panel, so tell us the space available.
