Aerospace & Aviation

Engraved and laser-marked nameplates, tool tags, and panel and instrument labels for aerospace and MRO operations.

Singapore is a major aerospace and MRO centre, anchored by the Seletar Aerospace Park and the aviation cluster around Changi, with airframe, engine and component maintenance operators based here. This work runs to demanding quality management systems. Tooling, equipment, ground support and components need precise, permanent identification for traceability, control and audit throughout their service life.

Million produces this identification in-house: engraved and laser-marked nameplates and asset plates (Milmark), tool and equipment tags, control panel and instrument labels, and facility and safety signage (Milscreen). Where an aerospace material standard or marking specification such as a MIL-format plate is required, we work to your specified material and format, so identification supports your quality management system and audit requirements.

Aerospace marking demands zero-compromise traceability. Our MIL-SPEC compatible identification is supplied to Singapore's aerospace MRO sector, with full batch documentation available to support quality management system audits. We understand the serialisation and marking permanency requirements of airframe and component identification.

Materials and marking methods selected to meet the standards this industry works to. Technical data sheets and documentation available on request for your audit file.

MRO identification plates

MIL-SPEC and CAGE-format identification plates for aerospace MRO operations: serialised, traceable, and documented to the AS9100 format.

Aircraft component labels

Chemically-resistant, high-temperature labels for aircraft component identification, meeting FAA and EASA marking requirements.

Ground support equipment tags

Durable tags for GSE fleet identification, maintenance scheduling, and airside asset management.

Tooling & calibration control

Laser-engraved tool identification and calibration status tags for aerospace MRO tool management systems.

The in-house marking and finishing methods behind the products above.

Aerospace MRO facilities operate under AS9100 quality management system requirements, mandating unique identification and traceability for all parts, tools, and equipment. Part marking must comply with ATA iSpec 2200 and customer-specific requirements from aircraft operators.

MIL-STD-130 is the US Department of Defense standard for identification marking of military property. It specifies the content, format, location, and method of marking for military equipment and components. We supply identification plates produced to the MIL-STD-130 format for defence MRO contractors in Singapore.

Aircraft component labels must resist aviation fluids (hydraulic fluid, fuel, de-icing agents), wide temperature ranges (-55°C to +150°C), and UV exposure. Qualified materials include polyimide (Kapton) labels, anodised aluminium plates, and chemically-etched stainless steel, selected based on the specific component and location.

Aerospace MRO tools are identified with laser-engraved serial numbers and calibration status tags tied to a tool management system. Tool identification must be permanent, engraved or stamped, not labelled, traceable to calibration records, and include a colour-coded calibration status indicator.

For aerospace quality systems, identification often needs supporting documentation such as material certificates and traceability records for audit. We can work to your specified materials and marking format and provide accompanying documentation where required.
