Acrylic Fabrication

Full in-house acrylic fabrication: cutting, bending, bonding, polishing, and assembly from a single supplier with no outsourced steps.

What is Acrylic Fabrication?

Acrylic fabrication encompasses the full range of operations required to convert flat acrylic sheet into a finished three-dimensional product: cutting, edge polishing, heat bending, solvent bonding, drilling, routing, and assembly. At Million, all of these operations are carried out in-house under one roof, which means we can manage the complete process from raw sheet to finished item without outsourcing any stage, giving us direct control over quality, lead time, and cost at every step.

Acrylic Fabrication service at Million Advertising, Singapore

We work primarily with cast acrylic, which offers superior optical clarity, better surface hardness, and more consistent bending behaviour than extruded grades. For applications requiring impact resistance, protective screens, machine guards, and safety barriers, polycarbonate is the preferred material, and we fabricate polycarbonate to the same standards as acrylic. Sheet thicknesses from 2mm to 25mm are regularly processed, with thicker material available on request.

Products we fabricate include display cases and cabinets, menu holders and brochure stands, donation and ballot boxes, trophies and awards, custom enclosures and housings, protective counter screens, and bespoke architectural elements. We work from customer-supplied drawings or from our own design where a drawing is not available, and we can incorporate printed panels, engraved elements, and hardware fittings as part of the same fabrication.

Best for Converting flat sheet into finished three-dimensional acrylic products: display cases and cabinets, menu holders and brochure stands, donation and ballot boxes, trophies and awards, custom enclosures and housings, protective screens and bespoke architectural elements. Because cutting, edge polishing, heat bending, solvent bonding, drilling, routing and assembly are all done in-house under one roof, the complete job runs from raw sheet to finished item without outsourcing any stage. Cast acrylic gives superior optical clarity and consistent bending, while polycarbonate is used where impact resistance is needed for guards, screens and barriers; sheet thicknesses from 2mm to 25mm are regularly processed, thicker on request.

When it's cost-effective It is a made-to-order fabrication service rather than a fixed-run print process, so cost is driven mainly by design complexity, material thickness and the number of hand operations per piece rather than by run length. Keeping every stage in-house avoids the lead-time and margin stacking of outsourcing, which helps most on one-off and low-volume custom work. Repeat batches of the same design become more economical per unit once the design and any jigs are settled. Send us a drawing or a description and we will advise on material and construction.

Commonly used materials in acrylic fabrication are Cast Acrylic, Extruded Acrylic, Polycarbonate, Frosted Acrylic and Coloured Acrylic.

Frequently asked questions

We offer acrylic cutting (laser and CNC), engraving, polishing, bending, bonding, and assembly. Common products include display stands, award trophies, signage panels, light boxes, product holders, and custom enclosures. We work with clear, coloured, mirror, frosted, and fluorescent acrylic in thicknesses from 2mm to 25mm.

We cut and engrave acrylic from 2mm to 25mm thickness using laser cutting for thinner sheets (up to 20mm) and CNC routing for thicker stock. Edge polishing restores flame-polished clarity to cut edges after machining.

Yes. We design and fabricate custom acrylic awards, trophies, and recognition plaques with laser engraving, UV printing, or embedded colour fills. Custom shapes, sizes, and branding can be produced from a supplied design or brief, with lead times of 5–7 working days for standard orders.

Laser-engraved acrylic produces a frosted white mark on clear acrylic, highly visible and clean. For colour fills, engraved recesses can be paint-filled for contrast. Edge-lit acrylic uses the engraved area as a light diffuser when backlit, creating a glowing effect commonly used for signage and displays.

Both. We can work directly from your supplied drawing or CAD file, or develop the design from a brief, sketch, or reference sample where no drawing exists. We can also incorporate printed panels, engraved elements, and hardware fittings into the same fabrication. Send us the requirement and we will advise on the most practical construction.
