Product Description
This is the open side of our acrylic work: anything that lifts a product, a sign or a card into view without enclosing it. Everything here is fabricated to your dimensions rather than picked from a catalogue range, and small quantities are normal.
What each format does. The names overlap in everyday use, so the table below is how we distinguish them when quoting.
| Format | What it does | Usually seen in |
|---|---|---|
| Display riser | Lifts one item above the rest of a group | Retail shelves, window displays |
| Tiered stand | Steps several products up into one line of sight | Counters, exhibitions, trade shows |
| A4 / A5 sign holder | Holds a printed sheet upright, portrait or landscape | Reception desks, price and notice displays |
| Menu stand or holder | The same thing built for food service, often double sided | Restaurants, cafes, bars |
| Poster stand or holder | Larger upright format for a printed poster | Retail, events, lobbies |
| Acrylic standee | A shape or figure contour cut from sheet, on a foot | Promotions, launches, photo points |
| Card holder | Small tray or pocket for cards and leaflets | Counters, reception, exhibition tables |
Sign, menu and poster holders. A4 and A5 are what most people ask for, and both are made to those exact sheet sizes so a printed page drops in without trimming. Slant back, upright, single or double sided, with or without a business card pocket. A menu stand and a menu holder are the same item, as are a poster stand and a poster holder, so ask for whichever you use. A perspex sign holder and an acrylic sign holder are the same thing, so ask for whichever term you use.
Acrylic standees. A standee is contour cut to the outline of the artwork rather than left as a rectangle, then given a foot or a slot base so it stands on its own. They are printed on our UV flatbed, which puts the image directly onto the sheet, and they suit product launches, campaign characters and photo points. Tell us the height and send the artwork with the cut outline marked.
Materials. Acrylic, also sold as perspex, lucite or plexiglas, is the default: optically clear, hard surfaced, specific gravity 1.19, so a stand is roughly half the weight of the same piece in glass and easy to reposition on a changing floor. Its heat distortion temperature is 80°C, which is worth knowing for a window display in direct sun. Polycarbonate is the alternative where a piece is likely to be knocked, since it takes an impact that would crack acrylic. Full property comparison and cleaning guidance is on our acrylic display cases and cabinets page, and it applies equally here.
Clear is the default. Coloured, frosted and mirrored acrylic are all available, and screen-printed graphics, engraved logos and custom colour infill can be added to panels and bases. Fabricated and supplied to retail, F&B, exhibition and commercial environments across Singapore.
Where the piece needs to be enclosed rather than raised (a box, a case, a lockable cabinet), see our acrylic display cases and cabinets.

Yes. Screen-printed graphics, engraved logos and custom colour infill can all be added to panels and bases, and our in-house graphic designers can set the artwork out for you if you only have a logo file.
Warm water, a drop of mild detergent and a soft cloth. Never use acetone or an ammonia-based glass cleaner, because both craze the surface, and avoid abrasive cleaners and dry paper towels, which scratch it. Fuller guidance on chemical resistance is on our acrylic display cases and cabinets page.
