Product Description
A fire extinguisher sign does one job under conditions nobody rehearses: it tells somebody who is not thinking clearly where the extinguisher is, from across a room that may be filling with smoke. That is why the red is a specific red, the pictogram is a standard pictogram, and the sign sits above the equipment rather than beside it.
What we make. Fire extinguisher signage in every standard format, including type-specific versions for water, foam, CO2, dry powder and wet chemical. Fire hose reel signs and hose reel location signs. Fire alarm call point signs. Fire door and fire exit route signs. Riser, sprinkler valve and fire command centre signs. Directional arrow versions where the equipment is round a corner from where people will look for it.
Symbols and colour. Produced using the red fire-safety colour and symbols of ISO 7010 and SS 508, the Singapore standard, so the sign reads the same to anybody regardless of the language they speak. Written SS508 or SS 508, it is the same standard. We produce signs to those sign conventions; final compliance with SCDF requirements depends on your building's fire safety submission, and we will say so rather than imply otherwise.
Photoluminescent, where the lights may not be on. Produced to DIN 67510, photoluminescent signs charge under normal lighting and stay readable in the dark, which is the condition that actually matters during a power failure or a smoke-filled evacuation. Specified as standard in stairwells, basements, plant rooms and long internal corridors.
Materials and mounting. Aluminium plates for general and exterior installation, acrylic panels where the finish matters, and self-adhesive vinyl for applying directly to a wall, a cabinet or a column. Flat wall mounting, or projecting double-sided versions that can be read along a corridor rather than only face-on. Sized to the viewing distance of the installation, because a sign that is correct but too small has not done anything.
Red or green. Fire equipment signs are red. Signs marking first aid kits, AEDs, eyewash stations and assembly points are green safe-condition signs, a different family under the same standard, and they are covered by our safety equipment location signs. Getting the colour wrong is the most common mistake we are asked to correct.
Supplied to buildings, factories, warehouses and marine facilities across Singapore. Also available as self-adhesive fire extinguisher and fire safety labels for applying directly to extinguishers and cabinets, and see our emergency exit and evacuation signs for the escape route itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
We produce fire equipment signs to Singapore Fire Code sign conventions, using the ISO 7010 and SS 508 fire-safety symbols and colours. Final compliance with SCDF requirements depends on your building's fire safety submission, which is a matter for your fire safety manager or QP rather than for us.
General extinguisher signs and type-specific versions for water, foam, CO2, dry powder and wet chemical, plus fire hose reel signs, alarm call point signs, riser and sprinkler valve signs, fire door signs, and directional arrow versions where the equipment is round a corner.
Yes, produced to DIN 67510. They charge under normal lighting and stay readable in the dark, so equipment can still be found during a power failure. Usually specified for stairwells, basements, plant rooms and long internal corridors.
Aluminium plates for general and exterior installation, acrylic panels where the finish matters, and self-adhesive vinyl for applying straight onto a wall, cabinet or column. Flat wall mounted or projecting double-sided so they can be read along a corridor.
Red marks fire equipment. Green marks safe condition: first aid kits, AEDs, eyewash stations, assembly points. They are different families under the same standard, and mixing them is the most common mistake we are asked to correct. Green signs are covered by our safety equipment location signs.
Sized to the viewing distance of the installation. A sign that is correct but too small to read from where somebody will be standing has not done anything. Tell us the room and the mounting height and we will size it.
