Product Description
An emergency exit sign has to work in the dark, when the power is off and the person reading it has never thought about the route before. That is a different problem from a sign that only has to be legible, and it is why the pictogram is standardised, the green is a specific green, and the material matters more than the print.
What these are. Printed and photoluminescent exit signs: the running man pictogram, directional arrows, final exit and escape route markers, fire door notices and stairwell identification. Sized and oriented for the position each one goes in. If you need a powered LED fitting rather than a printed sign, that is an electrical product with its own approval route, and most buildings end up needing both.
Photoluminescent, or self-luminous. Produced to DIN 67510. The material charges under normal lighting and continues to emit in the dark without any electrical connection, which is what makes it useful when the power has failed and the fittings may not be visible through smoke. Used at low level along escape routes, on stair nosings and handrails, and on final exit doors.
Pictograms and standards. The running man and directional arrows are produced to the ISO 7010 and SS 508 pictogram set, so the sign reads the same regardless of the language somebody speaks. Left-running and right-running orientations are separately marked, because a mirrored arrow sends people the wrong way. We produce signs to those conventions; final compliance depends on your building's fire safety submission, which is a matter for your fire safety manager or QP.
Materials and mounting. Rigid aluminium, acrylic and polycarbonate panels for surface, overhead and recessed mounting, and self-adhesive for applying straight to a door or wall. Projecting double-sided versions so a sign can be read along a corridor rather than only face-on. Standard A4 and A3 sizes, oversized for large open spaces and multi-storey car parks, and custom dimensions on request.
Supplied to buildings, factories, warehouses and marine facilities across Singapore. For the equipment itself rather than the route, see our fire extinguisher and fire safety signs; for first aid, AED and assembly point marking, our safety equipment location signs; and for the floor plan that shows the whole route, our fire evacuation and escape route plans.

Frequently Asked Questions
No, these are printed and photoluminescent exit signs. An illuminated LED exit box is an electrical fitting with its own approval route. Most buildings need both, and we supply the printed half.
