Product Description
Road traffic signage on a private site has to do the same job as the public network without any of its authority behind it. A driver reads a sign on your access road exactly as they read one on the expressway, so the shape, the colour and the legend have to match what they already know, or they slow down to work it out.
Where these signs go. Car parks and multi-storey decks, private access roads, factory and warehouse yards, port and shipyard estates, construction sites, and school or campus grounds. Anywhere vehicles and people share ground that the public road network does not cover.
What we make. Speed limit signs and no-entry signs. Directional and destination signs. Height and width restriction signs. Car park signage, including level, bay and one-way markers. Vehicle access and no-parking signs. Road closure and diversion signs. Road works and construction traffic signs. Pedestrian crossing and give-way signs. Custom legends where a site has a rule the standard vocabulary does not cover.
Materials. Retroreflective sheeting on aluminium, which is what makes a sign readable in headlights at night as well as daylight. The reflective grade is chosen for the approach speed and the lighting: a yard sign read at walking pace does not need what a sign on a 50 km/h access road needs. Screen printed or digitally printed depending on the run and the artwork.
Mounting. Post mounted on a single or twin channel post, wall or fence mounted, or supplied as a folding A-frame for temporary road works and closures that move as the job moves. Tell us the mounting and we will supply the sign drilled for it.
On LTA conventions. For private roads, car parks and internal site traffic we produce signs to LTA dimensional and colour conventions, so they read correctly to a Singapore driver. Signs for public roads are a different matter: those are subject to LTA approval and appointed-contractor requirements, and we will say so rather than take the order.
Manufactured in Singapore since 1979. Where the signage is about site safety rather than traffic, see our site safety signs and boards; for signs inside the building, our facility and workplace signs; and for marking the ground rather than the post, our floor marking and safety floor labels.
