Product Description

A fire extinguisher is only useful if somebody can find it and knows which one they are holding. Fire safety labels put the red ISO 7010 pictograms onto the equipment itself and onto the wall beside it, so extinguishers, hose reels, alarm call points and fire blankets are identified at a glance rather than hunted for.

Extinguisher identification. The label states the extinguisher type and the fire classes it suits, which is what somebody checks under pressure. CO2, dry chemical powder, foam, water and ABC extinguishers each carry different markings, and reaching for the wrong one makes a fire worse rather than better. We produce the type band, the fire-class pictograms and the operating instructions as one label sized to the cylinder, or as separate labels where the cylinder already carries the manufacturer's own markings.

Service and inspection records. The other half of extinguisher labelling is the maintenance trail. Service labels, inspection labels and refilling records carry write-on fields for the date, the technician and the next date due, so a monthly or annual check leaves a mark on the equipment and not only in a folder. Sequential numbering identifies each extinguisher on a site individually, which is what makes an extinguisher register usable when somebody walks the building to verify it.

Location and wayfinding. Wall labels and arrow labels point to equipment sitting below eye level or around a corner, and fire-extinguisher-inside labels mark cabinets and recesses where the equipment cannot be seen at all. Hose reel labels, hose cabinet labels and fire blanket labels do the same job for the rest of the fire equipment on a floor.

Beyond the equipment: fire door keep shut and keep clear labels, fire exit keep clear labels, fire action notices setting out what to do when the alarm sounds, and fire hazard and flammable material warning labels for stores, process areas and chemical cabinets.

Printed on durable vinyl resistant to chemicals, UV and abrasion, in custom sizes and wording. Photoluminescent options keep fire equipment visible during a power failure or in low light, where a printed label on its own would not be seen.

Where the identification has to stand away from the equipment (projecting from a wall, above head height, or on a post where there is no surface to stick to), the same content is produced as rigid fire safety equipment signs in aluminium and acrylic. Labels go onto the extinguisher, the cabinet and the wall; signs mount where there is nothing to label.

A fire extinguisher sticker can be produced for a single unit or for every extinguisher on a site in one run. Send an equipment schedule and our in-house graphic designers will set the artwork up and return a proof before anything is printed. Supplied to facilities, contractors and manufacturers across Singapore.

Labels identify the equipment itself. For the signage that gets people to the exit rather than to the extinguisher, see our emergency exit and evacuation signage.

Frequently Asked Questions

We produce fire equipment location labels (fire extinguisher, fire alarm call point, fire hose reel, fire blanket), extinguisher identification labels showing type and fire class, and fire action and instruction labels.

Yes, photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark) fire labels to DIN 67510 are available so fire equipment stays visible during a power failure or in low-light conditions.

Yes, we use ISO 7010 standard fire-safety pictograms, the internationally recognised symbols for fire equipment and fire actions.

A label is self-adhesive and goes on the equipment or the surface itself. A sign is rigid and mounts where there is no suitable surface, or where it has to be seen from a distance. Most sites use both.

Yes. Send the schedule and our in-house graphic designers will set the artwork up and return a proof before anything is printed.

Photoluminescent options are available for markings that need to stay visible during a power failure or in smoke. Tell us where the label is going and we will advise whether it is worth specifying.
